New MacBook Pros to be launched in March 2023

According to the sources, Apple has no intention of releasing a new Mac before the end of this year, contradicting the many rumors that have surfaced in recent weeks.
While Apple originally intended to release new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros earlier this fall, the company now plans to announce them in Q1 2023. This coincides with the release of macOS Ventura 13.3 and iOS 16.3.
The new MacBook Pros will not see any visual change from models currently on the market, but will feature new M2 Pro and M2 Max processors. The M2 Max will have 12 CPU cores, against the current generation’s 10, and will have its main graphics option increased from 32 cores to 38.
This is in line with the planned release dates for the corresponding software, but also makes sense in light of Apple’s recent track record of releasing new Macs during this month, including Mac Studio this year.
Apple’s recent financial results presentation confirms this, as Apple CEO Tim Cook said that Apple’s product lineup is “decided before the holidays”. Additionally, Apple Chief Financial Officer Luca Maestri said Apple’s holiday quarter will see revenue growth slow compared to the previous period, in part because there won’t be a major MacBook Pro launch like there was last year.
Despite this development, Apple is still working to release new software. iOS 16.2 and iPadOS 16.2, which entered beta testing last week, are expected to be released in mid-December.
