Huawei announces Pocket S: The Cheapest Foldable Smartphone

Huawei today announced in China the new Pocket S, a new folding smartphone that is sure to compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip. This is a smartphone very similar to the Huawei P50 Pocket, but with a different processor and a much more attractive price.
In terms of technical specifications, this Huawei Pocket S has a 6.9-inch foldable 10bit OLED screen with FullHD+ resolution, with 2790×1188 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate. On the outside, it has a small secondary screen measuring 1.04 inches.
Inside, it has a Qualcomm chip, the Snapdragon 778G, which is accompanied by 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. However, this chip (in this equipment) does not support 5G networks. Still inside we have a 4000mAh battery with support for 40W fast charging.
The new smartphone from Huawei has a dual camera system at the rear, where the main sensor has 40MP and is accompanied by a 13MP ultra wide-angle sensor. On the front, we have a 10.7MP sensor.
On the software side, it leaves the factory running Harmony OS 3.0, and its fingerprint sensor is mounted on the side, on the Power button.

As for the price, the 128GB variant costs the equivalent of €822, the 256GB variant costs the equivalent of €890, and the 512GB variant costs the equivalent of €1028
