Motorola announces the new Moto G Play 2023: A new low-cost Smartphone
Although the official presentation took place today, the Motorola Moto G Play 2023 will officially be on sale in the North American market from the next January 12th, through the Best Buy and Amazon networks, as well as through the company’s official website. The smartphone will arrive at the price of about 161 euros in a single blue color called Deep Indigo.
It is an entry-level smartphone, and of course its focus is on its price, which is why its technical specifications are very modest. But let’s start by talking about its screen, which has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with HD + resolution, with 720×1600 pixels, and a refresh rate of 90Hz.
Inside we have a low-cost chip from Mediatek, the Helio G37, which in itself is a clear sign that this Moto G Play 2023 does not support 5G networks. This chip is accompanied by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, which can be expanded via a MicroSD card.
Still inside we have a 5000mAh battery with support for 10W charging. As for photography, we have a 5MP front sensor and a triple camera system at the rear. The main sensor has 16MP and is accompanied by 2 sensors of 2MP, one for Macro photos and the other is a depth sensor.
