Twitter expands tweet character limit to 10,000 and introduces formatting options

Elon Musk’s social network continues to enrich its subscription plan, and now all those with a Twitter Blue plan already have Tweets with up to 10,000 characters, when until now it was limited to 4,000. For those who don’t know, unsigned users can only create Tweets with up to 28 characters.
The jump to 10,000 characters for long tweets isn’t the only change. Indeed, subscribers can already have formatting, putting their text in bold or italics. The announcement was made by Twitter itself where it reports the new limit and formatting: Sign up for Twitter Blue to access these new features and apply for subscription activation in your account to earn money directly on Twitter. Click “Monetization” in settings to sign up today.
Twitter Blue continues to be enriched
While a 10,000-character limit seems excessive to most casual users, the social network has likely implemented this option for people looking to earn money from their posts. The company renamed Super Follows to “Subscriptions,” allowing users to charge a few dollars a month for exclusive content. Twitter has also pledged not to take anything from your earnings for the next 12 months.
