Linda Yaccarino to be Twitter’s next CEO

Elon Musk had promised he would, and now it seems he has kept his promise. Elon Musk used his account on his social network to reveal that he has already hired a new CEO to take over the commands of the social network Twitter.
If we take his words into consideration, we also know that it will be a woman to fill that vacancy and that she will start working in less than 6 weeks. Elon Musk will continue to play an important role in the social network and has already planned to act in the dual role of Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Technical Officer (CTO/Chief Technical Officer), which will allow him to oversee the new products and services of the social network.
If we believe what is being advanced by the New York Times, the lucky winner would be none other than Linda Yaccarino, the current publicity director of the American group NBCUniversal. The latter is currently in negotiations with Twitter’s management team for this highly responsible position.
Elon Musk’s announcement sent Tesla’s stock up almost immediately (+2%), with investors happy to hear that Musk will have more time to run his electric vehicle business. On the other hand, it is not certain that the social network will be completely spared from Musk’s decisions.
