Introducing the S80 Solar Scooter: An Electric Scooter Powered by Solar Energy
Unveiled at Eurobike 2023, the S80 Solar Scooter stands out not for its elegance or daring curves, but for its innovative feature – a large rectangular handlebar integrated with a photovoltaic panel.
With a 468Wh battery, the S80 Solar Scooter can fully recharge in approximately 7 to 14 hours, depending on the level of sunlight available, harnessing between 35 to 70 watts of power in varying conditions. Once charged, it offers a range of 35 kilometers.
Equipped with a 350W motor, the scooter can reach a maximum speed of 25 km/h, allowing for a daily coverage of 17 kilometers on a single charge.
Additionally, the S80 Solar Scooter comes with GPS functionality, an armored digital panel displaying essential information such as speed, distance traveled, battery level, and more. It also features a patented anti-theft system for enhanced security.
Priced at $1400, the S80 Solar Scooter is set to go on sale.
