Motorola Unveils Moto G54 with 6000mAh Battery

Motorola has officially introduced its latest mid-range smartphone, the Moto G54. The standout feature of this new device is its impressive battery capacity, coupled with its chip that supports 5G networks.
In terms of technical specifications, the Moto G54 boasts a 6.5-inch IPS display with FullHD+ resolution, clocking in at 2400×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Under the hood, it houses a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chip, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and as much as 256GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSD card of up to 1TB.
The camera setup on this Motorola smartphone includes three sensors: at the back, a dual-camera system comprises a 50MP primary sensor with Quad Pixel technology, enhancing image brightness and detail in challenging conditions, while also incorporating optical stabilization (OIS) for sharper photos and videos. This sensor is accompanied by an 8MP secondary sensor suitable for wide-angle shots (up to 118° FoV) and macro photography (Macro Vision). The camera configuration is rounded out by a 16MP selfie camera, integrated into a punch-hole on the display. Noteworthy photography features include Dual Capture (simultaneous front and back recording), Timelapse, Spot Color, Hyperlapse, Slow Motion, as well as Ultra-Res, Night Vision, Macro Vision, Portrait, Panorama, Live Filters, Pro Mode, RAW, HDR, and more.
Notably, the battery capacity stands at an impressive 6000mAh, supporting 30W fast wired charging. Additionally, a 3.5mm headphone jack is present, along with an IP52 certification for water and dust resistance.
Out of the box, the Moto G54 runs My UX, which is built on Android 13, with a promise of updates to Android 14 and three years of security patches.
Price and Availability of Moto G54 As of now, availability in many markets is still undisclosed. In India, it will go on sale from September 1st, with prices starting at 170 euros for the 8+128GB variant and 210 euros for the 12+256GB variant.
The device will be offered in Midnight Blue, Mint Green, and Pearl Blue colors. Availability in other markets is expected to be revealed in the coming days or weeks.
