Asus announces Xbox controller ROG Raikiri Pro at CES 2023

Asus used CES 2023 to announce a new Xbox controller called the ROG Raikiri Pro. The device stands out for having a 1.3-inch OLED screen built-in above the Xbox button, which can be used to display text or animated wallpapers, switch profiles or check battery, microphone and Bluetooth pairing status.
What’s more, Raikiri Pro has two small buttons at the top of the controller that allow you to switch profiles at any time. There’s also trigger lockout, four programmable rear buttons, and a circular D-pad. You can even use the Armory Crate PC application to remap buttons and adjust joystick sensitivity, fire modes and dead zones.
What makes the Raikiri Pro stand out, however, is that it features “tri-mode” connectivity, allowing you to connect via USB-C, low-latency 2.4GHz RF mode, and Bluetooth. However, Asus mentions that the controller can only be used on Xbox Series X | S via USB-C, i.e. wired.Other features of the Raikiri Pro include an integrated ESS audio DAC, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a mute button.
