Microsoft launches its AI image generator in the Edge browser

Everyone knows that Microsoft and OpenIA are arm in arm in Artificial Intelligence (AI). After having implemented ChatGPT in its search engine, Bing, Microsoft is now implementing the DALL-E image generator in its browser, Microsoft Edge.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise, as Microsoft lags behind Google in many ways. Microsoft Edge is far behind in terms of popularity if purchased with Google Chrome, and its search engine, Bing, is light years behind Google searches. Therefore, the company is using AI to reduce the gap between companies.
In March, Microsoft announced that it wanted to bring an image generator to its browser. Until now, it was in limited testing, but the company is now making it available to the general public. And as you would expect, if you use Microsoft Edge, you’ll have quick access to a powerful image generator based on Artificial Intelligence. With this generator, you can simply type in a text prompt and the software will produce an image based on what you type in there. Since it’s based on DALL-E, we expect it to produce impressive results. DALL-E is one of the most popular image generators on the market, plus it’s free.
How to use image generator in Microsoft Edge?
You’ll see a big splash screen informing you about new features. When you start browsing, you should look at the icon panel on the right side of the screen, and there you will see the Bing AI icon at the top.
Look for the icon that looks like a brush painting a picture. As you do, you’ll see the panel extend to show a text field at the top with a grid of images below. When you type in your prompt, it will give you four different results, so you can choose which one you prefer. Just know that, for now, there is a limit to how many prompts you can enter, and currently that number is capped at 100.
