Motorola announces Moto X40 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 165Hz display

Motorola today held a new event in China where it presented some new equipment, and among them the Moto X40, its latest top of the range from the company that is controlled by Lenovo. In terms of technical specifications, this Moto X40 has a 6.7-inch 10-bit AMOLED screen with FullHD + resolution with a refresh rate of 165Hz. Inside we have Qualcomm’s most powerful processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Still inside we have up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage, which can be expanded through a MicroSD card of up to 1TB. Its battery has 4600mAh with support for fast charging of 125W wired and 15W wireless. For photography, the Moto X40 has a triple camera system at the rear, in which the main sensor has 50MP with OIS, and which is accompanied by a 50MP ultra wide angle lens and a 12MP telephoto sensor. At the front, we have a 60MP sensor. Its fingerprint sensor is mounted directly on the screen.
In addition, this equipment has IP68 certification, dual stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos support. On the software side, it leaves the factory running My UI 5.0 which is based on Android 13.
Price and Availability Motorola Moto X40
The Moto X40 is available in Smoky Black and Tourmarine Blue colors, and its price starts at 455 euros for the 8 GB + 128 GB variant. The version with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage costs the equivalent of 576 euros.
