Humans More Attracted to Female Robots
A Study has revealed that when it comes to Machines with Artificial Intelligence, people are more attracted to Machines with Women’s Names.
This is very strange to hear, but humans are more interested in women than men in the form of machines (Artificial Intelligence). It has been found in a recent study that when it comes to female and male robots, people are more attracted towards robots with female appearance.
A study conducted by Washington State University has revealed that when it comes to machines with artificial intelligence, people are more attracted to machines with women’s names. Through a study done on about 170 people, it has been found that even today the old thinking about women and men remains intact in the society.
A total of 170 people were included under this research. The researchers conducted their study on two humanoid robots, one named Alex, which was designed as a male while the other robot was designed as a female, named Sarah. The faces of their robots were made like humans and their screens were interactive. The survey was conducted by an assistant professor named Soobin Seo, whose results have been published in the International Journal of Hospitality Management.
What was the result of the research?
As a result of the research, the researchers found that people felt more connected to Sarah than to Alex. Generally people in society feel better with women than with men. This is the reason that even as machines, they found female robots more attractive than male robots. Now researchers are working on the fact that robots can be mentally attached to humans and people feel more comfortable with them. Even before this, it has been revealed in a study that tourists prefer to take information in hotels through machines instead of humans, the reason for this can also be an Pandemic.
