Next Apple Mac Pro will be less “Pro” than expected

Over the past few years, Apple has released many interesting products, such as its own ARM chips and the brand new Apple Studio, but the company has not yet shown much interest in the Apple Mac Pro lineup, which offers its best hardware. The Cupertino giant updated its lineup of Mac Pros in 2006, 2013 and 2019 and now fans are eagerly awaiting the next generation of computers. However, some rumors suggested the launch of a Mac Pro with a new Apple M2 Extreme chipset with a 48-core CPU and a 160-core CPU, but Mark Gurman, the famous Bloomberg journalist, says that this will not happen.

Gurman recently said that Apple would forgo the workstation-class “Extreme” chip and use a slightly improved “Ultra” processor in the next Mac Pro. Gurman also said that the new Mac Pro would use an M2 Ultra chip with a 24-core CPU and 76-core GPU, with the same storage options, graphics and network cards, but users would not be able to upgrade the RAM memory.
Next Mac Pro may be less powerful than expected

Aware of the lack of important news in terms of performance, Apple intends to attract fans with a renewed but not revolutionized design, which seems rather disappointing.
