Samsung Galaxy A54 will have a 50MP sensor

In a somewhat natural way, Samsung is already preparing its mid-range equipment for 2023. Now, new information shows that the next Galaxy A54 should arrive with a 50MP main camera.

We all know that the Galaxy A5x is always a highlight from Samsung and this is usually the most balanced smartphone in the range. And if you’re familiar with the previous Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A53 devices, you’ll know that they arrived with a 64-megapixel sensor, and that could mean a downgrade in terms of features.

However, as everyone should know, megapixel count isn’t everything, and if anything, the move to a 50-megapixel sensor could signal an upgrade rather than a downgrade, as might be expected. Samsung’s policy of including high-end features in some of its Galaxy A smartphones could mean that the Galaxy A54 will have a larger, more powerful 50MP main sensor. The device could very well use the same camera used on the Galaxy S22 and S22+, but that’s just speculation.

The Galaxy A53 still has about six months before its life cycle ends, so we’ll surely hear more about the Galaxy A54 as the release date approaches.
