Samsung opens Beta One UI 6.0 program in four more countries

For those who don’t know, One UI 6.0 is Samsung’s interface that is based on Android 14, which after much uncertainty, started with its public beta program last August 11 in some countries. Since then, US, South Korean and German users with the Galaxy S23 have gotten what is the first public beta version of that version of the interface, but Samsung has been quick to open up its program in other regions.

On the Samsung Developers website, the company announced that “The One UI Beta program is open to participants in China, Germany, India, Poland, Republic of Korea, United Kingdom and United States”. The company sends this message to newcomers: “As you learn about the new features and new design, please send us your feedback to help us create an exceptional experience for Galaxy users.”

The beta testers really have the heavy duty to provide constructive feedback to Samsung regarding not just the user interface but also any bugs they may find. In addition to current geographic restrictions, the program currently only accepts testers with a Galaxy S23. If you have an older or less sophisticated device, you will have to wait a few more weeks.

In this summer of 2023, we can say that Samsung news is on the rise. Rumors about its future top of the range, the Galaxy S24 Ultra (which will leave the factory with One UI 6.0), are already starting to emerge. It is said to benefit from a significantly better camera for far-off shots.
