Why Nasa’s Spacecraft Did Not Burn Even After Going Closest To The Sun, Know The Special Reason

A NASA spacecraft has touched the Sun’s magnetic field for the first time, whose temperature ranges from one million to two million degrees Celcius.

What is the purpose of sending a spacecraft to the Sun?

America’s space agency NASA launched this solar mission in the year 2018, whose purpose is to understand the nature of the Sun. So far no spacecraft had touched the Sun’s corona, also known as the Magnetic Field. In fact, the flames of fire rise up to millions of kilometers from the surface of the Sun. These flames are limited to the area due to the gravitational force of the Sun. That region is also called the corona or the magnetic field of the Sun. The temperature here can range from 10 to 20 lakh Celsius degrees.

This is the first time that a spacecraft has been successful in touching this corona. Now this mission will continue like this till the year 2025 and during this time this spacecraft will pass through a total of 24 orbits around the Sun. With this mission, scientists on Earth will be able to get the correct information about Solar Winds for the first time.

Why didn’t the spacecraft burn despite going near the Sun?

Although many people will also have a question, why does this spacecraft not burn even after going so close to the Sun? Actually, this spacecraft has a thermal shield made of Carbon Particles, which protects this vehicle from burning. Apart from this, there is a cooling system inside, which keeps it cool continuously. Even though the distance of the Sun from the Earth is about 14 crore 32 lakh kilometers.
