Online auditing tool company SparkToro has claimed that Elon Musk has 90 million followers on Twitter. Of these, 53.3 per cent are fake. That is, more than half of the accounts that follow them are either spam accounts or once they have been created, they have not been active for a long time.

According to the company, through this tool, any Twitter user can check how many accounts following him are fake or inactive. Speaking to The Independent, a SparkToro company spokesperson said, ‘We randomly picked up 2,000 accounts out of 10,000 accounts that followed Elon Musk in recent days to know about Elon Musk’s followers. They were then analyzed on 25 parameters to see how many inactive accounts, how many spam, how many bots and how many low quality accounts. Based on this analysis, it was found that 53.3 percent of the accounts that follow Elon Musk are fake.
Elon Musk is now in the process of completing his acquisition on Twitter. He has also announced to free Twitter from bots and spam accounts i.e. fake accounts after the acquisition. ”

According to US Securities, he sold 9.6 million shares last week, which is equivalent to his 5.6 percent stake in the Tesla company. According to Forbes, Elon Musk’s net worth is $268 billion.
