Apple rolls out iOS 15.7.5 with crucial security update

People who are using iOS 15 are aware that Apple launched iOS 15.7.4 last week. However, it appears that there were some issues with this update, as the company has now introduced the latest iOS 15.7.5. This update, as well as iPadOS 15.7.5, aims to resolve two vulnerabilities that “may have been actively exploited.”

The iOS 15.7.5 official release notes do not mention any new features other than respective security-related improvements. Apple simply says that this new version “provides important security fixes and is recommended for all users”.

As always, you can update your iPhone to this new version by going to the Settings app, choosing General, then choosing Software Update. The build number for the new update is 19H332.

This new iOS 15.7.5 is available for the following devices:

– iPhone 6s (all models)
– iPhone 7 (all models)
– iPhone SE (1st generation)
– iPad Air 2
– iPad mini (4th generation)
– iPod touch (7th generation)
