This Battery-Powered Aircraft Broke The Speed Record, Became The World’s Fastest EV
The fully electric Rolls-Royce aircraft has officially become the world’s fastest fully electric vehicle, driving 555.9 km/h over a distance of more than three kilometers. This aircraft named Spirit of Innovation has broken the record of Simmons Aircraft. It was driven at a speed of 532.1 km / h for more than 15 km in the test range. Apart from this, the delay in reaching the fastest 3000 meters has been reduced by this aircraft from 202 seconds to 60 seconds.
400 KW Battery With Aircraft
In this record-breaking flight, this aircraft of Rolls-Royce has also reached its top speed of 623 km / h. With this figure, it has become the world’s fastest electric vehicle. A 400 kWh battery has been provided with this aircraft, which makes more than 500 horsepower and is extremely powerful. Rolls-Royce says that this aircraft has been worked on for a very long time and it is built on very modern technology.
Spirit Of Innovation Aircraft
The Spirit of Innovation aircraft was part of the ACCEL or rather Accelerating the Electrification of Flight project which was started by Rolls Royce. Half of the investment in this project is also from the Aerospace Technical Institute, in partnership with the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and Innovate UK.
