Apple rolled out the highly anticipated iOS 17.2 yesterday, accompanied by the corresponding update for iPads, known as iPadOS 17.2. This marks the second major update for the iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 operating systems, originally launched in September.

As with any iOS update, users can access iOS 17.2 and iPadOS 17.2 by navigating to Settings > General > Software Update on eligible iPhones and iPads. For users who are unable to update to iOS 17, Apple has also released an iOS 16.7.3 update.

Key features of iOS 17.2 include the introduction of the Diary application, providing users with a platform to document significant moments in their lives. The app offers journaling suggestions, scheduled notifications, and options to incorporate photos, locations, and more.

Exclusive to iPhone 15 Pro models, iOS 17.2 introduces a Translate option accessible through the action button, enabling seamless multilingual conversations using the Translate app. Furthermore, users can now capture spatial video on iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, compatible with Apple Vision Pro for a 3D viewing experience.
