Elon Musk is totally against Telecommuting

We all know that Elon Musk has futuristic projects, but it seems that his management style at the head of his companies is far from being progressive: brutal layoffs, insane workload, disregard for private life, Musk is very far from the image of what can be a modern boss.
This managerial conservatism is also noticeable in Elon Musk’s attitude towards telecommuting. He had already openly declared his opposition to telecommuting, and that in the midst of a global pandemic, and now he has done so again in an interview with CNBC:
“It’s not just about productivity,” Musk said. “I think it’s morally wrong. Musk clarified during the same interview that it was completely hypocritical to work from home without taking offense at service workers continuing to physically show up to work (as if that had any connection). People should drop their morals about working from home bullshit.”
With the same kind of reasoning, pointed out a journalist from the Apple Insider website: “Elon Musk probably thinks now that it is immoral to use his private jet because the rest of us have to fly commercial flights”.
