Interior Design Tips – Table Placing Ideas

Do I need a table for 6 people in a house where only my partner and I reside? Would it be convenient for me to have a more spacious and participatory room, taking into account that there are 6 of us at home?

Like these questions, many arise depending on who lives in the house. We could throw an infinite battery of questions. However, these should be raised by each family or household member, to be able to make decisions.

To determine them, it is important to take into account several key points; like the number of family members, their ages and routines. If it is a first or second residence, professions of the person who lives in the home, etc.

  1. PRIORITISE SPACES

This point is important to determine before starting the interior design proposal. If by  customs we frequent the common areas more, providing them with more space and comfort will improve  day to day. We must, then, prioritize them over private areas. In this way, we will have a more collaborative home.

In  trajectory as interior designers and designers we have come across very diverse types of families. Although it seems like a minor detail, since in the end as professionals we must stick to the chosen script, know what it is like and what customs it has. All this helps us to take into account certain details about the interior design of houses.

  1. REDUCE WALLS AND GO FOR OPEN SPACES

For those who are overrated about intimacy, this would be a key point. Sometimes, a poor distribution of origin limits the possibilities of a home. Another of  tips for interior design is to consider if all the walls are really necessary or if they are. It is necessary to make a more logical and technical proposal. For example, you could do without some walls and have more open and diaphanous spaces.

In fact, houses with open spaces give us an unmistakable feeling of oxygen, calm and freedom. Open spaces do not mean large dimensions. We must know that there are several concepts that act independently of the useful meters.

Broadly speaking, there are three main characteristics to follow: proportion, rhythm, and balance. If we establish a correct symbiosis between these three elements of architecture and house design, taking into account the original dimensions and structures, we could say that it would be a good starting point for interior design.

  1. Sharing On The Table

Although it may seem an unimportant aspect, the tables also play their role in terms of family habits. If space is available, betting on a round table improves integration. With it we will have, at all times, visual contact with all the diners and it will give us a greater sense of community.

These are also highly recommended for small spaces, since the circular shapes allow us to have practical and small tables. And, at the other extreme, if the table is large or medium-sized, it must be borne in mind that the center of it becomes unusable or almost always unusable.
