PayPal Free returns ends on November 27
No more free PayPal returns: new rules starting in November
As of November 27, 2022, PayPal will no longer refund return costs or provide free return labels. The confirmation came on the company’s FAQ page, which after years changes its policy, and communicates new rules to be followed.
Of course, this decision will make many people turn up their noses because it actually eliminates the possibility of returning a purchased product at no additional cost. So it’s a true pillar of PayPal’s return policy, which will be gone forever.
The company continually updates and develops new features for its customers. Sometimes some services need to be discontinued as part of these changes.
With these words the company motivates (without explaining) the novelty in question. However, the users who have a personal PayPal account with the service already active can continue to use the free returns service until that date.
Therefore, as anticipated, as of November 27, 2022, PayPal will no longer accept return cost refund requests, nor will it provide free return labels. The last day to submit a free return request is therefore November 26, until 11:59 pm.
PayPal also specifies that it won’t be a problem that requests are still being processed when free returns are stopped: if approved, the request will be processed even after the free returns end.
And now, even if you buy through PayPal, you will have to pay (where stores provide) the shipping costs to return a purchased product. Anyway, for more information visit Paypal website.
