Samsung Launches One UI 5.1 Update for Galaxy Tab S8 with Enhanced Camera and Gallery Features
Samsung has released a new software update for its Galaxy Tab S8, called One UI 5.1. This update follows the success of One UI 5.0, which was the interface based on Android 13. One UI 5.1 is a small update from the previous version, and it was initially launched with the Galaxy S23 series. After the release of the new flagship smartphone, the South Korean company has started to provide the software update to its previous flagship devices, including the Galaxy S20, S21, and S22 series.
Recently, Samsung made the One UI 5.1 update available for Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy A73. Now, the company has started to roll out the update for the Galaxy Tab S8, which includes the February 2023 security patches. The update comes with several new features, including improvements to the Camera and Gallery applications, such as the ability to quickly change the color tone of selfies, more advanced search, improved image remastering, the possibility of creating a shared family album, and a simplified layout for viewing photo details.
Other enhancements in One UI 5.1 include improvements to multitasking, modes and routines, the new Dynamic Weather widget, the new connected devices battery widget, and improvements to the Smart Suggestion widget. This update is expected to be made available in all markets soon, following the same pattern as One UI 5.0. Samsung users can look forward to a smoother and more optimized experience with the latest update.
