WhatsApp Set to Introduce Exciting New Features for Users

WhatsApp, the popular messaging app with around 30 million users in the UK and 2 billion worldwide, is set to undergo some major changes. The details of the changes have been revealed online, and users can expect a number of exciting new additions. The changes are usually previewed on the beta version of the app before they become widely used, and it is not yet clear when the changes will be available.
One of the changes includes a faster and easier way to block unwanted contacts with a new shortcut that will be listed in the chat option part of a user’s chat list. While blocking multiple users at once is not yet an option, it is expected to be added in a future update to the app. Another change is the ability to detect text in images, which is already available on the beta version of the app. Android users will also be able to move their chat history from one device to another, making it easier for them to switch to a new device without having to use Google Drive.
In addition, WhatsApp is working on a feature that allows users to forward media with a caption. Currently, when users forward an image or video, it is done without a caption and a separate message has to be sent to explain why the message was forwarded. The new feature will allow users to keep the original caption or have the option to remove it. WhatsApp is also developing a camera mode that will make it easier for users to switch between camera and video mode. This new feature will make the camera feature more similar to that of the main one used on iOS devices.
These changes are good news for all WhatsApp users as they will make using the app easier and more convenient. The new features are expected to be rolled out gradually and users can expect to receive alerts about the new changes. It is important to keep in mind that the changes are still under development and are subject to change. With its massive user base, WhatsApp is always working on new ways to improve its user experience and these changes are sure to bring a fresh and exciting new look to the app.
