1 Dog At A Time is a group of volunteers who are dedicated to rescuing Romanian street and stray dogs and finding them loving homes here in the UK. We have a shelter in Romania where the dogs are kept safe, warm, have regular meals and given lots of loving care and attention. 1 Dog has funded dog neutering programmes and education programmes in local schools, which are essential for the long term.

Activities include arts and craft, games, sporting activities and camping. We organise external people to give talks either on our premises or at their own premises such as Police dog handlers, Police helicopter, RSPCA, Fire Brigade, A drive in a 4 wheel drive vehicle over an assault course.

The Charity provides support for the care & treatment of sick, injured and abandoned dogs leading to dogs finding homes & therefore improvement in animal welfare. Support and advice is also given to adopters who have given homes to rescue dogs from Cyprus. Fundraising to support grant applications for the work which is ongoing in Cyprus and to provide emergency vet treatment and rescue backup.

To create Health, Happiness and Harmony in Humans and Horses. To re-rehabilitateand re-home horses, ponies and donkeys. To benefit young people and the disabledusing the therapeutic effect of horses with humans.

To rescue, and rehome abandoned, injured and homeless cats and kittens, within the Gloucestershire area. To trap, neuter and return feral cats. To provide information and advise the public on feline welfare.

Scout activities including camping, hiking, swimming and weekly meetings doing art & craft, sport, cooking, knots etc. Badge work includes care for animals, first aid, music, hobbies, collecting, local history and religion. Local and London visits to places of interest and worship.

Working in Retford and the surrounding area, we work to conserve and preserve the hedgehog species by:a) providing first aid, treatment, and rehabilitation to sick, injured or orphaned hedgehogs with the aim of releasing them back into the wild wherever possibleb) educating the public about the care, conservation and habitat of hedgehogs.

A small rescue for cats, based in Sheffield S8, helping cats from many areas but prioritising those in S8, and re-homing throughout Sheffield and surrounding areas (Rotherham, Dronfield, Chesterfield etc).

To fund the care and relief for dogs suffering from illness or neglect. Funding medical treatment where required.Identify areas where improvement was required. We have supplied funding to enable improvements to be made. Correctly built kennels.Provide education to reduce the levels of disease.Donate food, or provide funding for food.

We are a foster based rescue we take in dogs from the public,dog wardens and local council pounds. We assess the dogs at home for a minimum of 2 weeks and then we place them into suitable foster homes until they are ready for their forever homes (many need vet care so they stay in foster until cleared by the vet) we use boarding kennels when we don't have suitable fosters available

To promote the permanent preservation for the benefit of the inhabitants of the village of Sawston and neighbourhood of its natural flora and wildlife. To establish a museum devoted to the history of Sawston.

Advancement of animal welfare by taking stray and abandoned cats off the streets of Preston andDistrict and improving their quality of life by providing them with food, shelter and veterinary care whilstseeking to find them permanent, caring homes

To relieve the suffering of horses, foals and ponies and in particular to provide and maintain a sanctuary for such unwanted animals and treat the sick or ill. To provide a good quality of life for our charges, and develop a role for them within the community, for the benefit of the wider public. We have a policy, where appropriate, to re-home suitable horses or ponies.

MAKING CHARITABLE DONATIONS TO SMALL CHARITIES BUT EXCLUDING MEDICAL RESEARCH OR ANIMALS CHARITIES

To relieve the need of people with disabilities who are in need of assistance through the provision of a suitably trained assistance dog and to train and educate them along with those responsible for the care and welfare of such persons in the use of such assistance dogs and to provide such additional services and facilities for their benefit as the trustees deem appropriate.

We rescue & rehome Bull Terriers; supported by volunteers across the UK, we assess dogs & vet potential homes. We rehome directly from people's homes, or where necessary dogs are placed in foster homes before rehoming. We rely fully on donations & fundraising to provide the veterinary care & ongoing medical care that many of these dogs require. We promote good dog behaviour & Ownership.

Provision of fostering support for the pets of those experiencing domestic abuse. Advice to those experiencing domestic abuse with regard to providing care for their pets.

The benefits of the charity are delivered through experiential programmes of Equine Facilitated Interactions. The experiential approach is key to delivery benefit because it not only provides a safe space to develop individual awareness, but it also creates an opportunity to be or to behave differently.

Wide range on animals to stroke and feed, animal petting pavilion, shop-selling home produce free range meat,eggs,ice cream, Cafe, plant sales, woodland walk, play area, horse rides/RDA, birthday party room hire, day care service for people with special needs, special events throughout the year i.e halloween night, xmas grotto.
