The activities of ACTS West Wales. 1) Pembrokeshire Food Bank. 2) Cilrath Acre (a community food growing project). Further charitable activities may be added. The financial activity of Pembrokeshire Food Bank has been included in the annual accounts of Grace Church West Wales. Charity Number 1038463 up to 31st March 2015. From 1st April 2015 Acts West Wales has governance responsibility.

The charity aims to assist in the alleviation of poverty in the communities in Africa it serves. Poverty food is a real issue in some regions of Lancashire UK. The Hyndburn district is listed as the 34th mostincome-deprived in England with near one fifth of the population (18.2 per cent) listed as out of work or onlow income. Local people are dealing with hunger every day. Too many families are worrying about theirnext meal because of circumstances beyond their control.

We have been supported various projects in Pakistan and surrounding areas which include, handpump's school's, food distribution, housing projects and payments to needy families.

Al-Risalah's goal is to alleviate hunger, help eradicate illiteracy among the orphans we care for. Provide food and shelter for orphans and destitute men and women. The Well Project is a community based project operating in Normanton, West Yorkshire.We provide positive activities for the community to engage with, aiming to build a stronger improved community for the future. Include Youth Clubs, Health Walks, Food Bank, Lunch Clubs, Friendship Groups, Coffee Mornings, Community Events and more.

We operate in the All Saints Church, Belgrave at Kerrysdale Avenue, Leicester, LE4 7GH. We offer free coaching and music classes. We organise free coffee mornings and offer a warm and welcome space to one and all. We also run a food pantry where we address the issue of food poverty and a warm bank for people suffering from fuel poverty.

Emergency food provision for beneficiaries in the Alnwick district of Northumberland

Alston Moor Food Bank supplies basic wholesome food and provisions to individuals, couples or families that find themselves in financial crisis in the geographical location of Alston Moor and the surrounding areas.

The primary purpose is to operate Alton Foodbank, the main focus is on the collection and distribution of food in accordance with the rules and recommendations set out by the Trussell Trust who are the over arching sponsors of some 400 foodbanks throughout the UK.A secondary object is the operation of a school uniform bank for local primary schools in the immediate area.

Currently we have a weekly meeting for those who wish to share their faith. During the week we work with and support young people and families in Middleton. We support people in the Middleton area of Leeds through a weekly Food Bank and Well - being chat sessions. Links are kept with Romania and Colombia.

Amble Food Bank helps members of its surrounding local communities who are struggling financially and need support via the provision of a food parcel that they receive fortnightly. All clients get referred to us through an official agency which assesses whether they are eligible for a food parcel. We also signpost clients to other agencies if they are in need of additional support.
