As part of the wider RAF Air Cadets - we act as a resource for young people up to the age of 20 living in the City of Sunderland. We aim:To promote and encourage a practical interest in aviation and the RAF.To provide training which will be useful both in the Services and civil life.To foster the spirit of adventure.To develop qualities of leadership and good citizenship.

Our Scout Group offers young people aged 6 - 14 an opportunity to gain Skills for Life via a structured programme of challenging and exciting fun-packed activities in the Bilborough area of Nottingham (where we are based) and beyond, doing our best to ensure their safety at all times. We believe in 'Scouting for All' irrespective of ethnicity, faith or special needs. All are welcome!

SCOUT GROUP,BEAVERS CUBS AND SCOUTS

Member of the Scout Association providing activities and programmes for young people aged 6 - 18 to develop their skills, to be able to achieve their full potential.

Working with young people

Our group is part of the Scout Association and provides a meeting place for young people to take part in scouting activities as part of the programme provided.

To help with the development of young people and encourage them to become confident and rounded individuals.To teach them values and encourage them to enjoy outdoor activities.

The group helps to provide outdoor challenge, adventure and skills for life to young people in and around the Folkestone area.

Scouting is the largest co-educational youth organisation in the World with over 28 million members world-wide.Scouting exists to contribute to the development of young people by helping them grow up to be self-reliant, responsible and caring citizens.It is open to those of all faiths and offers equal opportunities to all young people aged between 6 and 25 years old in the community.

Promote and carry out all aspects of the Scouting movement with young people aged 6 to 18

Our Scouting provides Activities each week for young people from the ages of 6years to 14years.They have the opportunity to attend Camps(experiencing Kayaking,Horse Riding,Swimming,).and also to go on visits and outings as well as helping them to acheive confidence and build up social skills.

We aim to provide Scouting of the highest standard available to all young people that wish to join, from boys and girls aged 6 through to 18 years.

Scouting - we provide an exciting programme of activities for Beaver Scouts; Cub Scouts and Scouts, which promotes learning and personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.

The Teaching of Young people life skills as well as giving opportunities for adventures and new experiences via scout camps.

We run six units, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, from our Scout Hut in Mitcham. The children attend weekly meetings where they work towards badges which help to make them aware of their environment and to care for others. Camping and fund-raising are among the many activities in which the children are involved.

Scouting activities for youth from the age of 7 years up.

Provide scouting to young people to develop them spiritually, physically and socially within the community and world of scouting.

Providing progressive training in a wide variety of activities, including canoeing, sailing, camping, hobbies, leadership, hill walking, map reading and many more

The 11th Romsey (Kings Somborne) Scout Group operates in the local area as part of Romsey District Scouts. The Group works to enhance the development of young people and is governed by The Scout Association (national) guidelines.

To train young people in Scouting Skills which covers a wide range of activities.
