Rotary Club of Consett gives donations to organisations, individuals, groups and other charities in the local area. We help all ages for purposes of education, training, medical support and overseas aid.

General charitable purposes, overseas aid and relief.

Help towards poverty, disaster area, health, eduation, help youth and senior citizens, grants to Organisations, Overseas aid, Economic Community Development, Education training etc

We provide training and equipping for our family of churches and their members, mainly in Europe but also internationally. We also have an overseas aid arm, Church Relief International, which facilitates aid and support to projects in various developing countries.

Regular giving to a variety of charities providing help to people in this country and those providing overseas aid, supporting children in orphanages(paying for their schooling and general living expenses) and missionaries who are working in Africa and India. We hold weekly church meetings and serve as a venue for inter-church activities in the local area.

General Charitable Purposes including overseas aid and famine relief

Religious activities (Christian).Children/Youth activities in the community.Overseas aid/support.Provides human resources.

We raise and distribute funds to carefully selected development projects in the developing world. We also organise educational events locally, often hosting talks by people who have been working on projects we have supported.

We give support to selected projects overseas, especially those in which local people are involved. We help communities in poor countries with funds for small scale projects that can create a long-lasting benefit. Typically these include the provision of medical, educational and community facilities and the promotion of new techniques for irregation, education and organic farming.

The Apex Church is a christian charity promoting faith and belief through local meeting and activities. It also supports individuals and groups to be involved in local and overseas aid projects.

The trustees have maintained a programme of support for: (1) Christian relief organisations, overseas mission agencies and projects; (2) Schemes for relief of poverty and sources of poverty within the Midlands; (3) Support for local church mission projects, primarily within Derbyshire.

The Charity deals with general charitable purposes. In particular we promote education/training, relief of poverty, overseas aid and famine relief, religious activities. We help children/young people, elderly/old people, people of a particular ethnic or racial origin, other charities/voluntary bodies. In general we carry out the above by making grants available to individuals and organisations.

The trusts objects include wide charitable purposes at the discretion of the trustees. There are no restricted or endowment funds. The policies are almost exclusively to benefit health, education, the arts, overseas aid and general charitable purposes.

Relief of poverty, distress and suffering, in particular by provision of grant funding to aid needy or disadvantaged children in their early years mainly up to 10 with the limit being 18. The Ellerdale Trust does not fund individuals. Overseas aid no longer considered.
