The purpose of Scouting is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
Scouting Group, we have upto 60 children in our 3 groups. We hold meetings weekly on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights. These meetings are held in Scawthorpe Doncaster

Scout Group based in Henleaze area of Bristol
The Scout Group provides adventurous activities and personal development opportunities for young people. Personal development means promoting the physical, intellectual, social and spiritual well-being of the individual, helping them achieve their full potential.
We are part of the Scout Association and we are one of 42 scouting groups in the Croydon District. We are the only Air Scout Group in the Croydon District. We provide scouting activities to young people from the age of 6 - 15 both indoors and outdoors. We take the children away on trips and camps and the older children enjoy flying activities. We have children in Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.
Following the Scouting and Guiding Programmes which encompass personal development, learning skills, becoming Good Citizens whilst having fun. Taking Badges in various skills along the way and Camping etc.
We provide social activities for young people from age 5 to 17, including sports, cookery & handicrafts. These mainly take place in the safe environment of our own premises. We hold various functions to raise money for the Group i.e. Quiz & Chip nights & raffles.
Teaching young people to, be good citizens, by providing fun activities where the young poeple will learn.
