As a Scout Group, we are a charity and aim to offer the children and youths of the local community fun and challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventure and the chance to help others so they can make a positive impact in communities.
Runs 2 Beaver Colonies, 3 Cub Packs and 3 Scout Troops. There are between 20 and 30 in most sections, mostly boys but an increasing number of girls. The emphasis throughout all sections is to have fun whilst being challenged in hands-on activities they don't get to do at school.

The 1st Cheadle Heath 'Elks Own' Scout Group's activities are aimed at children from the age of six to fourteen years of age and are based on following the policies and principles of the Scout Movement.
Scout Group comprising 4 training sections (beavers, cubs, scouts, explorers) with ages from 6 to 18. The individual sections provide training and outdoor activities for boys and girls based on a programme of learning, practical experience and physical activity.
