Offering 6- to 25-year-olds fun and challenging activities, everyday adventure and the chance to help others so that we make a positive impact in communities. Scouts helps children and young adults reach their full potential. Scouts develop skills including teamwork, , leadership, initiative, planning, communication and cultural awareness .

To provide ansd support scouting activities linked to the Ist Guilsfield Scout Group, and to support and maintain the joint Scout and Guiding Jubillee Headquarters.

Maintain and improve the Headquarters building for the use of the Scout and Guide groups.

The Purpose of the 1st Hainault Scout Group is to promote the development of young people in the Fairlop and Hainault area in achieving their full physical, interllectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of the local, national and international communities.
