Youth Group run by volunteers and funded by membership fees and fundraising activities adhering to P.O.R. regulations issued by Scouting HQ for children aged between 6yrs and young adults through, beavers, cubs, scouts, young leaders, explorer and network scout sections. Activities include physical challenges, badge work schemes and charitable activities to help or enhance the lives of others.

The group offers all the usual activities of a Scout Group for children from age 7 years up to young leaders of 18 years plus.

Shefford Scouts is part of the UK Scout Association. We currently run Beavers, Cubs, Scout and Explorer sections.

THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION PROVIDES ADVENTUROUS ACTIVITIES TO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT THE PHYSICAL, INTELLECTUAL AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 6-25. THE INTENT IS TO BUILD AND AWARENESS OF RISK, TEAM SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR FUTURE.
