Scout Group
1st Shirley Guides is for girls aged 10 - 14. They take part in exciting activities on Friday evenings and at special events or camps. Guides do adventure sports, play fun games, and take part in community and fund raising projects. Guides work together in Patrols and, with the support of adult Leaders, choose and run activities in line with the new programme as well as Interest badges.

Character building activities, outdoor activities (e.g camping, rock climbing, travel, swimming, sport) team building, environmental and civic awareness.
We provide access to the Scouting movement for the young people (boys and girls) of Shorne and the surrounding area.

We run a Scout Group for young people between the ages of 4 and 14, currently there are 2 Squirrel Dreys (ages 4-6) 2 Beaver Sections (ages 6-8), 2 cub section (ages 8-10.5) and 1 Scout Section (aged 10-14). We run various activities in keeping with Scout Association

Scouting Group servicing South Ascot, Sunninghill and surrounding area. We comprise a Beaver unit for ages 5-7. Cubs for ages 8 - 10, Scouts for ages 11 - 14 and Explorers for ages 14 - 18.The Group is based at the Scout Hut on Church Road in South Ascot. Beavers and Cubs on a Tuesday evening, Explorers on a Wednesday and Scouts on a Thursday.

South Normanton Scouts is part of the worldwide Scout movement. We try and up hold the Scouting motto and help young children understand responsibilities, self respect and respecting others, becoming trusting, self controlled and self confident young people.The Scout Group was founded in 1910 by Mr C Blackhurst and has developed into a strong group, having Beavers, Cubs and Scouts
Our activities are in accordance with those set out by the Scout Association
Part of the Scout Organization.
