A PTA is a Parent Teacher Association; an organisation with the objective of making the school a better place for children to learn. The Yardley PTA brings together parents, teachers and children to raise funds and strengthen the community. The PTA arranges events such as summer fairs and other community events. Money raised is spent on items or activities that the school budget does not cover.
Yardley Wood Baptist Charitable Company operates a Local Food Pantry in conjunction with Yardley Wood Baptist Church. The Food Pantry is a community food store run by volunteers for the benefit of local people. It operates as a membership scheme and aims to help people make their money go further by providing food to the value of around six times the weekly membership fee.
Teaching Horse riding to children with learning difficulties from three local schools. The charity hires ponies from a local riding stables.
Financial help to parishioners in need. Help for students residing in the parish with books, course work etc.Help for projects that will enhance the parish, e.g. benches, notice boards etc.
Catering for Recreational and leisure time activities for all parishioners in the Yarkhill District
The relief of need among visually impaired people and people who have suffered as a result of war and natural disaster, activities to support empowerment of women and children in the North and East Sri Lanka.
The charity runs the village hall where meetings, dinners, classes and other events are held.

Example activities supported - Promoting volunteering, Relief of poverty and relief of those in need. Encouraging healthy recreation, Yarm Club occasionally gives grants to individuals. The club operates within the agreed objects under the aegis of LCI , both locally and nationally. Trustees are independent and make their own decisions, but will consider guidance given by club members.
The Fellowship Hall is located in West Street, Yarm, which is part of Stockton on Tees. It is run by a committee of 6 trustees. It is owned by Yarm Town Council and is leased from them by the Yarm Fellowship Committee on a lease that runs to 2035. It is a hall that is rented out as a venue to various users.

We provide a building in Yarmouth, Isle of Wight, in which rainbows, brownies and guides, beaver scouts, cub scouts and Yarmouth sea scouts can hold their meetings.
We are a member of the NFWI, we meet monthly where we discuss a range of subjects of local or national or international issues. We also provide our members with educational opportunities to learn new skills, develop friendships while taking part in a variety of activities. We hope to bring to the fore the role the woman in our modern day society through discussion/campaigning on a variety of issue
