Our aim is to encourage young physically and/or sensory disabled people between the ages of 16-25 yrs to build a social network of non-disabled friends through one to one buddying. We also encourage disabled youngsters to play a fuller role in their community through active participation in the running of the charity as well as taking part in and organising educational and group social activities.

YCAT was set up in 1984 to identify, nurture and promote outstanding young soloists and ensembles at the outset of their professional careers. As an artist management service YCAT liaises with promoters in the UK and abroad. YCAT also presents concerts to showcase the artists it represents.
