MANAGEMENT AND OPERATION OF A LOCAL SCOUT GROUP.

We offer a wide range of activities including camping, climbing, hiking, spirital, community service and many other activities.

Providing scouting actives in our area

1st Wellington Scout Groups is a large vibrant Scout Group with a strong sense of family and community who, through its wide adventurous and culturally rich programme helps the development of the young people of Wellington and its surrounding villages.

The WGC (ST Francis Scout) Scout group, currently runs 2, beaver packs for 6-8 year old Children, 2, Cub packs for 8-10 year old childen and 2 Scout groups for 10-15 year old children. We have in the region of 150 children attending these groups. Usual team building and educational activities including camping and helping the Church's charity fund raising activities.

Providing scouting activities to young people

In accordance with the Policy, Organization and Rules of the Scout Association

LOCAL SCOUTING GROUP WHICH INCLUDES BEAVERS, CUBS AND SCOUTS

Providing Scouting Activities to children aged 7 to 14

Providing Scouting activities for young people between the ages of 6 and 14.

Local Beaver, Cub and Scout Group taking part in organised events, sailing, anything that comes under the Scout Association.

Scouting activities including Camping, Hikeing, Proficency Badges, First Aid, Map Reading, Community Service, Church Parade, Swiming

Providing developement and life skills for children/young adults

Scouting Exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society
