As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the 256th Christchurch Hengrove Scout Group give young people of South Bristol the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.
The Group promotes Scouting in the West Heath area of Birmingham (and surrounding villages) and follows the aims of the Scout Association - to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local national and international communities.

Each week, we give young people in Firswood the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed, now and in the future: skills like teamwork, leadership, resilience and empathy. Education and learning The Scouting group provides a safe and structured environment to enable youngsters to experience a wide range of activities. These are covered within the badgework programme of the Scout Organisation as well as fund raising, day trips, camping and overseas trips. These are all supervised by fully qualified CRB cleared adults endorsed by The Scout Association.
