THE AIM OF THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION IS TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL, INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL AND SPIRTUAL POTENTIALS, AS INDIVIDUALS, AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND AS MEMBERS OF THEIR LOCAL NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES.EG. CUB AND SCOUT CAMPS. BEAVER SLEEPOVERS. VARIOUS CANAL TRIPS. DISTRICT CAMP.CLIMBING, CANOEING, AND MANY OTHER ACTIVITIES.
A Sea Scout Group providing a huge array of activities and training, on and off the water, offering #Skillsforlife to young people aged 6 to 25 and beyond. It is a Royal Yachting Association Teaching Establishment and British Rowing Accredited delivering training to national governing body standards. The Group is Royal Navy recognised and affiliated to the Royal British Legion.

WE ARE PART OF THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION PROVIDING TRAINING AND WELLBEING TO CHILDREN AGED 4 TO 18 YEARS OLD
The Group have 1 Beavers section, 1 Cub Scout section & 1 Scout section.In summary the aim of the Scout Association is to promote the development of young people's physical, intellectual, social & spiritual potentials.This is achieved by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training, based on the Scout Promise and Law, and guided by adult leadership.
We are a scout group that caters for boys and girls in beavers, cubs, scouts and explorers.
The 3rd Christchurch (Jumpers) Scout Group provides Scouting to young people aged between 6 and 14 years of age. Young people take part in activities based on the section they belong to and their age. The sections within the Group are Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and Scout Troop.

Our purpose is to actively engage and support girls and boys, between the ages of 6 to 14, in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society focusing on youth development, life skills, positive contribution, and building a better world through a value-based program for young people.

This is achieved by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme progressive training, based on the Scout Promise & Law and guided by adult leadership.
Scouting for boys and girls aged 6-25. The group also has a marching band and membership is open to any Scout or Guide (not just our group or district).Adults over 18 run the sections and/or can be members of the band.
Helping young persons, between 4 and 18 years old, develop valuable life skills and personal development through involvement in a wide range of activities and experiences. Actively encouraging young persons to get stuck, get muddy and have ago, in fun activities that they may not normally have access to. Scouting builds confidence, resilience and skills that will be used for life.
