SCOUTING FOR BOYS & GIRLS AGED 6 - 16 YEARS
THE PURPOSE OF SCOUTING IS TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL, INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL POTENTIALS, AS INDIVIDUALS, AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND AS MEMBERS OF THEIR LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES. THE 15TH BRIGHTON SCOUT GROUP DOES THIS BY PROVIDING A BALANCED PROGRAMME OF ACTIVITIES FOR ITS MEMBERS.

Scouting provides adventure and opportunities for young people aged 6-25. We believe in helping our Members fulfill their potential by working in teams, taking responsibility, learning by doing and thinking for themselves. We're working to make Scouting available to all and we're passionate about what we do.

The method of acheiving the Aim by both associations is by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progessive training.

We are a Scout Group based in North Baddesley, which is between Romsey and Southampton in Hampshire. Our group is open to Boys and Girls.
