Age Concern (Banstead) is a charity set up to promote the welfare of the aged in the areas encompassed by Banstead, Nork, Kingswood, Horley, Preston Estate, Tadworth, and Walton-on-Hill. The main activities include a visiting service, dissemination of information, provision of transport and a voluntary car scheme.
We were constituted in June 1981 with the principal object of providing services and facilities for the well being of the elderly in our catchment area; comprising Lunch Club (three days), keep fit, genealogy, ceramic painting, befriending service for the vulnerable elderly living in the Cowplain ward and its surrounds.
A WIDE RANGE OF ACTIVITIES, THERPIES, INTERESTS FOR OLDER PEOPLE. INFORMATION AND ADVICE SERVICE, INSURANCE, CONTRACTOR CALL, WELFARE RIGHTS, DAY CARE, ASSISTED BATHING AND CATERING ALL AT THE WILLIAM AND PATRICIA VENTON CENTRE. IN THE COMMUNITY WE PROVIDE HOME FROM HOSPITAL, BEFREINDING, A REMINISCENCE SERVICE AND TRANSPORT. WE HAVE THREE FUND-RAISING CHARITY SHOPS LOCATED IN EASTBOURNE.

The hall is open daily to provide a meeting place and various activities for the Senior Citizens,it is also available to the general public to hold birthday parties or fund raising events.
Age Concern Appleby & District have two shops in the town. both run entirely by volunteers. We have no paid staff what so ever and all money raised, after expenses, rates, rents etc is given to local charities and groups which help and care for older people in the Appleby District.
Age Concern Barnstaple and North Devon supports older and vulnerable people to reduce loneliness and isolation, improve health and wellbeing and support independent living. Services include Care Line, Community Transport, Shopping Service, Befriending, Carer Support, Hospital Support and Community Activities.
We provide services to adults over the age of 50 years and their family or carers to make informed choices on benefits and enabling services. Our services include information & advice, befriending & carers respite. Practical help in the home is provided if a client is unable to carry out these tasks for themselves due to ill health or age.We work across the whole of Bedfordshire and Luton.
Friday lunch club for over sixties in Bentham area. Minibus with disabled access to and from the lunch club and regular outings.
We provide coffee & teas for the over 60's while they wait for the buses or have been shopping. Provide shelter from the weather when required and a place to get information from AGE UK.
Age Concern Birmingham is the foremost voluntary agency supporting older people, their families and carers. The services provided include, but are not exclusive to, day centres, luncheon clubs, carers support services, befriending schemes, specialist support services (grants and advice service, and debt counselling), information, tradesperson and handyman directory and volunteer schemes.

Formed in 1977 with the object of promoting the welfare of the elderly within Bude, and the surrounding areas detailed in our constitution, in any manner that is or may become charitable. Currently that involves operating a subsidised hospital car scheme and a subsidised shopping scheme supported by income from donations and a charity shop.
The Pop-in Centre provides social contact and refreshments in comfortable, friendly surroundings for six mornings a week for any person over 50. The Mini-bus serves folk with mobility problems or who are restricted for lack of public transport, taking them to larger towns and places of interest. We offer a door to door service, from the locality and surrounding villages.
