TO PROMOTE THE RELIEF OF ELDERLY PEOPLE IN ANY MANNER WHICH NOW OR HEREAFTER MAY BE DEEMED BY LAW TO BE CHARITABLE IN AND AROUND THE COUNTY BOROUGH'S OF OF BRIDGEND, MERTHYR TYDFIL AND RHONDDA CYNON TAF. SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES INCLUDE THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION/ADVICE SERVICES, ADVOCACY SUPPORT AND LOW LEVEL SUPPORT TO ENCOURAGE INDEPENDENT LIVING.
Provide free community based services that facilitate social inclusion, while promoting a healthy and active retirement for local older people. Activities include information and advice through our telephone helpline, local information points, website, events and talks, through to participation in our healthy lifestyle clubs, befriending groups and on-going welfare benefits and advocacy casework.

A weekly meeting for older members in our community. For some this provides the only quality face-to-face interaction they have in a typical week. We provide a hot two-course lunch, and entertainment that varies between bingo sessions, armchair yoga, and guest entertainers. For those who can't get to a meeting independently, we offer a minibus service, which we can also use for day trips.
