York Carers Centre provides support to unpaid carers of all ages in York. Services include : support for young carers (aged 5 to 18); support for young adult carers (18-25); support for adults; carers emergency card; benefits and community care advice; drop in sessions; help filling in forms; signposting/referrals to other agencies; emotional support; events/activities; training for professionals
To pursue any charitable purpose for the benefit of the people of the City of York, in particular, but not exclusively, by the selection, training and provision of volunteers.

Provision of chamber music in York in a short festival. It includes outreach work with young musicians, educational masterclasses and a competition for young musicians.
We provide quality and affordable childcare for children from 6 months to 16 years, and in particular to lone parents and those on low income. We support out of school clubs offering wrap around childcare.
Grants must benefit/enhance the lives of children and young people under 25 living within a 20 mile radius of the centre of York. Applications are considered for educational, social and medical assistance where no stautory funding is available. Grants are awarded to children's/ young people's groups based in and around York but not to national organisations and charities without a clear York link.
We hold regualr sunday service and various bible reading group for Chinese speaking people in York to help them grow in Christian faith. We also organize various parties, retreats and day trips to spread the good news among Chinese community in York.
YCYH organises annual Christian holidays for children (8-11 years) and young people (11-16 years), as well as holding occasional youth events during the year, and a young person training programme for those aged 16 to 19 years old.

We assist refugees applying for benefits and emergency housing.We maintain and develop links with donors to provide household items and clothing for refugee households in York and partners in Bradford, Wakefield and Hull.

The activities include Sunday church services held at The Centre, Burnholme, York and a range of activities during the week held in homes, Cornerstone and other local venues, such as fellowship groups and young peoples activities. We run a local foodbank and offer support to our local community. We help individuals and organisations whose objectives align with our charitable aims.
The charitable company's policy is to acquire, renovate and maintain property of historical, architectural or constructional interest in the County of North Yorkshire in accordance with its objects.The charity does not generally award grants to third parties.
The Group was formed to provide an essential part of the rehabilitation process after a heart attack or heart surgery. This is done through regular Monthly Meetings, exercise classes, walking group, art group and swimming sessions. Members are kept in touch through a quarterly Newsletter.
