As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the 2nd Copythorne (Stanley's Own) Scout Group give young people the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

We promote a range of indoor & outdoor activities, including camping, hiking & life skills with emphasis on boating for older members. All are encouraged to gain badges for skills developed in the activities promoted.

Providing Scouting activities for young people, both male and female, from 6 years upwards through Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts and Scouts. There is provision for young people through to age 25 in the Explorer Unit meeting at our headquarters and through membership of the Scout Active Support Unit.

Providing Scouting for young people from the age of 6 to 26 in the Area of Deanshanger and surounding villages
We work with children aged 6-14 years old, by taking them on trips, days out, camping trips working closely in the local community.
Provides Infrastucture for Scout, cub and beaver groups
Offering Scouting activities to children in the Donnington area of Telford in Shropshire. Group members take part in various activities including Hillwalking, Camping and Archery.
Youth Organisation for girls. Activities include Enjoying the Out of Doors, Exploring the Arts, Becoming a Home maker, Helping other People and keeping to a moral code
