The charity operates a village hall which provides facilities for local activities. It provides support for local educational activities.
The Hall is managed by Arnside Women's Institute and Hall Management Commitee and is used by the local community to hold various activities.

ART AGAINST KNIVES works to reduce the root causes of knife crime through youth-led arts initiatives that provide an alternative to violent gang culture. Our vision is to create a platform for young people to engage with their local community through creative opportunities.

Arthur Bugler PTA work to raise money to benefit the children at Arthur Bugler Primary School. They arrange events and activities at school and within the local community.
Artregen helps in the regeneration of Pontypool through the Arts. our projects have included an artwork to commemorate the Millenium, a memorial (written and artwork) to a hospital , now being upgraded, relocated and restored an 18th Century arbour, have staged "Opera in the Park" 5times. Provided seats in the Italian gardens around a fountain which we helped to restore. Literary events.

A horticultural society & gardening club for the local village and surrounding areas. We aim to increase interest in gardening and assist members to increase their understanding of the potential of their gardens.
We run an archive centre built onto the back of Ash Village Hall . We catalogue photographs, documents and heritage resources given to us by local people and organisations. We are open to the public twice a week. We help Ash primary school with history projects. We have two public lectures a year, a heritage walk and an exhibition/event.
