The Association runs the Balmoral Centre for the benefit of one of the most disadvantaged wards in the UK. It is the only community facility, and promotes community cohesion in an area of intense multicultural diversity. It runs projects to help disadvantaged, vulnerable people play a fuller role in the community through improved life choices and chances, and social and community involvement.
The charity manages a community space for the use of residents of the Balsall Common and Berkswell parish councils and surrounding districts. We provide some activities ourselves such as community events, community cinema, food share cafe, short mat bowls and table tennis. We also hire out the space for community activities which include dance, exercise, education and parties

BBA is a volunteer-led organisation based on Clapham Common, formed to promote environmental sustainability, food growing and the support of wildlife. BBA has three growing spaces including a large community garden with a field kitchen. These provide people with an opportunity to get outdoors to learn, share and practise horticultural skills, meet people and be at one with the natural world.
