A free advice service using a qualified advice worker from a third party supplier, versed in the rules and regulations covering welfare benefits who advises people on entitlements and if necessary helps process claims. He/she also advises on debt issues. An appointment system is used and the service is available 1 morning per week in Shirehampton.

Avon Buddhists will attempt to advance access to Buddhism by making available the wisdom and compassion of Buddhist teachings to people within the local community. We believe that this can offer people a route to a happier and healthier peace of mind.

Awre Village Hall is held in trust as a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the parish of Awre without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions and in particular for the use of meetings, lectures and classes or for other forms of recreation, business and leisure time occupation to improve the conditions of life for the inhabitants.

Provision and maintenance of a recreation ground and village hall for meetings, lectures and classes and all other forms of recreation and leisure time activities, with the objectives of improving conditions of life for those in the area.

Provision and maintenance of a swimming pool for the benefit of inhabitants of Axe Valley and its neighbourhood who are in need thereof by reason of their social circumstances or youth, sickness or old age.

The charity provides help in the local community to those people needing to re-home their cats, taking in stray cats handed in to the vets or roaming in the local community, and for those looking to adopt a cat. We also run a trap, neuter, return scheme for feral cats located in the area. We have referred to the guidance contained in the charity commission's general guidance on public benefit.

We meticulously identify the needs of communities and implement sustainable, long-term solutions spanning vital areas such as education, health, skill development, sports, mental wellbeing, and basic necessities.

The objectives of the Trust are for the benefit of the public in the Moulvibazar district of Bangladesh to the advancement of the community development by building a Community hub which will act as a hub for local residents and travellers, providing a safe place to promote volunteering.

To manage Aylesbeare Village Hall for the benefit of the Community including but not restricted to, the provision and running of clubs, leisure activities and the use of interest groups, organisations and private hire.

Provision of facilities/eqipment for Music Project for Youths (training in use of computerised music software, recording equipment, djing equipment, musical instruments). Provision of facility for youths to remain safe from drug and alcohol and meet with their friends and other youths. Provide facilities for the elderly, for cultural education and community adhesion.

We make donations and grants to applications generally from Aylesbury and the surrounding areas. We raise funds through can collections, providing BBQs in support of local community and charity events. We have supported Hearing Dogs, Florence Nightingale Hospice, SeeAbilty, Christmas food parcels for the disadvantaged elderly, Young Carers, Women's Aid and several more.
