To promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, responsible citizens and members of their local national and international communities. The method of achieving the Aim of the Association is by providing an enjoyable and attracttive scheme of progressive training, based on the Scout Promise and Law.
We are the 4th Ipswich Scout Group, running scouting activities for children between 6 and 14 years of age

The activities of 4th Letchworth Scout Group are as a unit of the scout association. The aim of the Association is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
Scouting or the Scout Movement is a movement that aims to support young people in their physical, mental and spiritual development, that they may play constructive roles in society, with a strong focus on the outdoors and survival skills
Scout Group, current active sections are Squirrels 4-6 year old Beavers 6-8 years old Cubs 8-10 years old, Scouts 10-14.
We continue to develop young people in the Beavers; Cubs and Scouts engaging them in various activities e.g. Archery; Shooting; Camping etc. Competing in competitions with other groups in the Waveney area.
The Group are based in Mansfield Woodhouse Nottinghamshire. Activities include camping, hiking and other activities connected with the scouting movement.
