This Scout Group belongs to the UK Scout Association. It provides opportunities for boys & girls to meet in a well managed, safe environment to develop personal and community skills through the Scout Association's structured activity programme. These activities take place both indoors & outdoors. Participation in & completion of an activity is recognised by the participant receiving a badge.
Operate (generally) weekly, term-time Scout and Guiding acivity sections for young people. Organise, and where neccessary raise funds for, regular trips, camps and outdoor activities for the section members. Maintain/improve HQ resources, including equipment, with strict regard for health and safety regulations/requirements.

10x10 Philanthropy supports small charities. It does this by engaging and educating young professionals on the importance and impact they can have.
Cultural education and support of students.
As part of the wider RAF Air Cadets - we act as a resource for young people up to the age of 20 living in the City of Sunderland. We aim:To promote and encourage a practical interest in aviation and the RAF.To provide training which will be useful both in the Services and civil life.To foster the spirit of adventure.To develop qualities of leadership and good citizenship.

Our Scout Group offers young people aged 6 - 14 an opportunity to gain Skills for Life via a structured programme of challenging and exciting fun-packed activities in the Bilborough area of Nottingham (where we are based) and beyond, doing our best to ensure their safety at all times. We believe in 'Scouting for All' irrespective of ethnicity, faith or special needs. All are welcome!

The development and presentation of a live-action night show of 2,000 years of British History seen through the eyes of North East England on a 71/2 acre stage to an audience of up to 8,000 in the shadow of Auckland Castle, Bishop Auckland, County Durham.Every aspect of the show will be delivered by over 1,000 volunteers to reawaken pride, develop skills and bring the local community together.
