Yorkshire & Humber Ecological Data Trust seeks to improve and inform environmental planning, sustainable development, land management and countryside stewardship in Yorkshire. It achieves this through the collation, management and dissemination of biodiversity and other environmental information.

We provide support to those affected by asbestos related conditions, across Yorkshire, Humberside and North Nottinghamshire, to those diagnosed plus their families. Every year, our charity receives over 300 new referrals and we help each individual access (on average) over £24,000 income, plus providing emotional and bereavement support and organising social groups and events for our service users

We provide and promote high quality musical activities and tuition for children and adults who have additional needs. We run CPD courses for staff, and participatory music days and concerts for children/adults with LD. We value music as communication education and for pleasure. We recognise the unique contribution that music plays in peoples lives especially those who have added difficulties.

Raising awareness, encouraging cohesion in provision of maternity services for asylum seeking and refugee women, confidence building and enabling volunteers and developing and sharing resources.

The rescue and re homing where possible of stray, abandoned and unwanted animals.

EDUCATION AND PROMOTION OF THE STUDY OF THE HISTORY AND ARCHAEOLOGY OF THE HISTORIC COUNTY OF YORK

The society seeks to further knowledge regarding local architectural and archaeological heritage, by promoting relevant lectures and visits. In addition it provides advice and limited financial assistance for architectural conservation and archaeological exploration. Grants towards the publication of architectural and archaeological papers may be made.

The objective of the Bell Repair Fund is to advance the Christian religion by providing financial assistance to churches within the defined area for the purpose of maintaining and improving their bell installations.

WE PRIMARILY DELIVER ALCOHOL AND DRUG AWARENESS TO CHILDREN IN ALL SETTINGS AND ALL AGES. MAINLY SCHOOLS. WE DELIVER A PROGRAM CALLED BREAKING THE CYCLE.ALSO DELIVER TRAINING TO ANY INTERESTED PARTY AND PROFESSIONALS.

YBKA promotes beekeeping throughout Yorkshire, providing education, training and support for our members and informing the public at large, particularly children, about the important role that the honeybee plays in the natural ecology.

Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation

A channel for charitable giving of Yorkshire Building Society ('YBS'). Its two priority areas are alleviating poverty and improving health/saving lives. To do so it makes donations for a specific purpose/item to registered charities, recommended by members and colleagues, who support beneficiaries such as children, the seriously ill, the elderly, the homeless and the disabled in the UK.

Yorkshire Cancer Community is a network of people who have been affected by cancer.It is a partnership of patients, carers and healthcare professionals, which covers Yorkshire and the Humber.We aim to inform the network via newsletters, social media, a website and networking meetings, as well as visits to cancer support groups. Patients and carers are offered opportunities to get involved.

The charity's objects are the advancement of health or the saving of lives by undertaking research and other relevant activities in the Yorkshire region or elsewhere to help people avoid, survive or cope with cancer.

To rescue and rehome unwanted and stray cats and kittens. As part of the change in legal status to a Charitable Incorporated Association (CIO), the charity took over all the operations, funds, assets and liabilities of Yorkshire Cat Rescue (registered charity number 1058218) on 1st April 2015. This charity had been operating since 1996.

Yorkshire Children's Charity launched at the start of 2022 with the sole mission of being a needs led charity, exisiting solely to help the children who need us whether they are at a disadvantage due to disability, ill health, or financial circumstance. Based in Leeds but covering Yorkshire.

The provision of salaries and expenses to Licensed Readers, Stipendiary Readers and Lay Workers in the Dioceses of York, West Yorkshire and the Dales (previous dioceses of Ripon and Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield.

The advancement of the Christian religion by the provision of Christian chaplains and other ecumenical support to serve farming and rural communities in Yorkshire and the surrounding areas in accordance with the statement of faith.

For the benefit of the public/ local community we take in abandoned and unwanted dogs from the Yorkshire Coast Area, provide any necessary medical treatment and place them in kennels or foster homes until new homes are found.
