The objectives of the Charity is to promote the study of music and drama and the arts, by running Summer Schools and short courses in addition to the regular daily teaching sessions, this has been largely successful with in-house teachers providing courses and an increase use of the College facilities by outside groups.

The Charity provides education and training relating to the archaeology and history of the Yorkshire Dales landscape. It supports community research projects and aims to improve public knowledge and understanding of the heritage of the area.

River catchment conservation measures for the Yorkshire Dales Rivers, namely the Wharfe, Nidd, Ure and Swale. The Yorkshire Dry Stone Walling Guild main activity is the preservation and promotion of the craft of dry stone walling. It is a member organisation offering training courses, practice days and levels of accreditation. It is also involved in promoting the craft at country shows

Yorkshire Funders provides opportunities for local funding organisations of all sizes and sectors to think, share, learn and act together in order to be more effective and boost their impact on Yorkshire and Humber places and people. In turn, the work of Yorkshire Funders aims to improve the conditions of life of people who live and work in Yorkshire and the Humber.
Conserve and foster Yorkshire's garden, park and designed landscape heritage. Volunteers undertake research and recording, advice and assist with conservation, support horticulture in schools. Some grants are made for conservation and schools projects in Yorkshire.

Yorkshire Icon Ltd is a registered charity set up to deliver and run a landmark sculpture and visitor centre for the benefit of the local community in Rotherham and the wider Yorkshire region, honouring the heritage of steel and coal and promoting the new technologies. Education, apprenticeships, community and place are central themes to running the charities objectives now, and in the future.

The Yorkshire Indian Society through its members organize large scale banquet dinners annually to raise funds to help allow the Charitable Trust to meet its objectives. This involves getting together local Yorkshire and Indian-based residents and support and sponsorship from businesses to help make the event highly successful. An attendance of over 500 people from various backgrounds is the norm.
The objectives of the charity are to promote knowledge and appreciation of music, particularly the establishment and maintenance of a community string orchestra, which will provide an opportunity for structured group learning of instrumental performance by late (adult) starters and encourage participation by them in all aspects of music.

Yorkshire Mediation Services provides mediation and conflict resolution services across Yorkshire and Humberside. Our core work is neighbour dispute mediation but we also carry out workplace mediation, peer mediation and training in communication and conflict handling skills.
